Who is our application for?

• For those who already have a basic understanding of grammar, can build sentences, but constantly face the challenge of lacking vocabulary. It happens that you start speaking confidently and even use the correct tense structure, but then realize that you don't know at all how to translate a key word. To avoid such situations, a good vocabulary is essential.

Why these 5000 words?

• Analyzed a vast number of English texts, creating a list of the most frequently encountered words. However, among these 5000 words, there are no elementary words like pen, space, man, nor words that sound similar to their translation, such as illustration, brand, marketing. As a result, by learning these 5000 words, you will possess the most useful vocabulary for communicating on a wide range of topics.

How does it all work?

• The application has three tabs: "Dictionary," "Studying," "Learned." In the first tab initially contain 5000 words. Your task is to determine which ones you already know and which you do not. Click on a word and select its translation. If you make a mistake or click "Don't know," the card goes to the Studying tab. Once you have collected at least 5 words in the Studying tab, press the "Start studying" button. Word cards will be shown to you several times. The first time - with an image and translation for you to learn the word.

Plans for the future:

• - Add three new study modes: listening (audio playback), pronunciation (correctly pronounce the word), writing.
• - Search within each tab.
• - Add personalized push notifications with studied words for you to remember them throughout the day.
• - Gamification (achievements for learned words).
• - Socialization (option to share progress with friends).

How much does it cost?

• The app is available for free download. The first 100 words from the dictionary are available for study completely free of charge. If you find our app convenient and would like to learn the remaining 4900 words - subscribe. It's not expensive. A monthly subscription costs as much as a cup of coffee - $2.99.
